The AFL wishes to advise that it has completed its examination of each club's Total Player Payment (TPP) estimates for the 2013 season in the lead-up to the NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft next Tuesday, December 11.
The AFL has determined that the following selections are eligible to be taken, to take clubs to a maximum of 40 players for its primary list.
2012 NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft
Round One
1 – GWS Giants
2 – Western Bulldogs
3 – Port Adelaide
4 – Brisbane Lions
5 – Richmond
6 – Essendon
7 – Carlton
8 – Fremantle
9 – Collingwood
10 – Adelaide Crows
11 – Sydney Swans
Round Two
12 – GWS Giants
13 – Carlton
14 – Fremantle
15 – Collingwood
16 – Sydney Swans
Round Three
17 – Sydney Swans
All other clubs submitted a full Primary List of 40 Players.
The NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft and the NAB AFL Rookie Draft will both be held Tuesday December 11, as electronic drafts.
All 18 clubs will be linked using Microsoft Live Meeting technology, enabling them to lodge their selections from their home state or club base, with the AFL Football Operations Department to run the Drafts from the AFL offices. As such, no club staff at all will be at the AFL offices on Tuesday for vision or interview opportunities.
For all media who wish to attend AFL Headquarters so as to record all selections, they should arrive no later than 10.45am, for a prompt 11am start.
