AFL FANTASY is open for 2019!
More than just a lick of paint, the new-look site has been launched for the upcoming season with a raft of improvements across the two games.
The salary cap game, Fantasy Classic, requires you to select a starting squad of 30 players under the $12.8m salary cap, the same figure each AFL club must stay under.
Classic coaches will be impressed by the redesigned team page which makes selecting your teams and navigating the extensive statistics a breeze. Flipping over a player card will allow you to change your captain, sub players around your team and complete trades. In the pre-season you will have unlimited trades until the round one lockout. Fantasy Coach subscribers will have exclusive stats, such as breakevens, at the click of a button when they flip the cards.
More information than ever has been included in each player profile and the stats centre.
After last year's crazy overall finish needed a tiebreak, make sure you register nice and early to avoid any chance of a repeat!

Fantasy Draft continues to increase in popularity each year. Every League is its own entity where every player is unique. Teams are selected via a live draft, similar to the NAB AFL Draft in November. Once someone has been picked, no other coach can own him unless a trade between coaches is completed or he is dropped as a free agent.
The Draft game has also had a major revamp. A lot of time has been put into making sure the experience for coaches competing in their League is second to none. Greater flexibility for commissioners, an easy-to-use pre-Draft rankings page and an improved in-season League experience highlight the changes. Live drafts will be able to be scheduled from mid-February and the draft day experience will be something to remember!
Prizes
If you register for AFL Fantasy by 11.59pm AEDT on March 4, 2019, you will automatically go into the draw to win one of two $500 AFL Travel vouchers OR one of two fully catered boxes at the MCG for you and 15 others.
First prize for Fantasy Classic is a Toyota Corolla Hatch ZR – 1.8L Hybrid (CVT) valued at $36,414 (including GST), a Grand Final package for two valued at $4,000 (including GST) and an AFL Live Pass voucher valued at $99.95 (including GST).
The second placegetter will receive $10,000 cash, while third will receive $7,000. Both second and third will receive a Grand Final package and an AFL Live Pass voucher.
Cash prizes will be awarded up to 10th place.
Every week the top-ranked coach for the round will receive an AFL Live Pass voucher, $100 Shop AFL voucher and a Sherrin Full Size AFL Football.
The top 100 coaches will receive a New Era hat with their 2019 ranking emblazoned on the side.
