2006 NAB Rising Star nominee Brad Symes will play his first game of 2007 on Saturday against Collingwood at the MCG.Symes, who plays across half-back, will come in to replace ruckman Dean Brogan who injured his ankle last week.It means vice-captain Brendon Lade will carry the ruck duties on his own, as he did quite often last year when he won the best-and-fairest and was named ruckman of the All-Australian team.Symes started the year in the SANFL with Central District and was named the Power’s best player in the local league by development coach Darren Trevena last weekend in his Players in the SANFL section at PortAdelaideFC.com.au. Symes had 29 disposals and took eight marks against South Adelaide. The Power wasn't able to select Danyle Pearce, who has not recovered from the hamstring injury that made him a late withdrawal from the Power side that lost to the Crows last week. Until then, Pearce hadn't missed a game since debuting from the rookie list late in the 2005 season. The Power leaves for Melbourne on Friday, will have a light training run at the MCG on Friday afternoon in preparation for Saturday afternoon’s clash with the Magpies. The team, which takes on Collingwood from 2.10pm (EST) on Saturday is as follows...B: Toby Thurstans, Darryl Wakelin, Jacob Surjan HB: Michael Pettigrew, Chad Cornes, Michael Wilson C: Dom Cassisi, Shaun Burgoyne, Steven Salopek HF: Josh Mahoney, Warren Tredrea, Greg Bentley F: Nathan Krakouer, Damon White, Brett Ebert R: Brendon Lade, Kane Cornes, Peter Burgoyne Interchange: Tom Logan, Nathan Lonie, David Rodan, Brad Symes
Emergencies: Troy Chaplin, Fabian Deluca, Matthew Thomas
