Bathie, who came to the Cats after turning his back on a promising basketball career, played 55 VFL games for the club over three seasons.
He was among the best players in Geelong's VFL Grand Final win last year.
The 26-year-old also made four appearances in the NAB Cup.
Standing at 198cm tall, Bathie spent his early days at Simonds Stadium learning the ropes as a key defender.
But after being moved to the forward line this season he booted 30 goals, including four hauls of four.
With key position players in short supply, Bathie is hoping to resurrect his career at another club.
"I just think the fact that he's developed so well over the last three years should grant him the opportunity to play AFL football," his manager Tim Hazell recently told AFL.com.au.
"His body is ready to go, and he's at the prime of his height and size and the way that he moves.
"I think the agility he gets from his basketball background is a big strength, and he's an ultra-professional.
"He certainly feels that he should be in the system for a while yet."
A midfielder from East Fremantle, Eardley was selected by the Cats with pick 18 in the 2012 NAB AFL Rookie Draft.
He played 40 VFL games over the last two seasons and also made two appearances in the NAB Cup.
"We thank both Cameron and Ryan for their time at the club and the contribution that they made," Geelong football manager Neil Balme said.
"They both improved during their time here and played a major role in the success of our VFL team.
"We wish them every success in their future football endeavours and their lives away from football.
"They will always be welcome at the club."
Geelong will make more changes to its list in coming days.
Veterans Joel Corey and Josh Hunt are expected to retire, while Paul Chapman is considered unlikely to be granted a new contract.
