Throughout the 2011 season, Werribee coach Paul Satterley will be providing player reports on North Melbourne's VFL representatives for kangaroos.com.au.

A 28-point win against Geelong on Sunday gave the newly-appointed Satterley plenty of reason for optimism, but how accurate his judgments on North's players are won't be found out until the all-important selection deadline at 5pm on Thursday evening.

Read Paul's views for round two below:

Cameron Pedersen: "Played the first half at centre half-back and was very important in setting up the win. His spoiling, tackling and 1% efforts were team boosting. Went to centre half-forward for the 2nd half and provided another avenue to goal. Finished the game with ten marks.
By the numbers: 20 possessions, 9 marks, 5 tackles, 11 1%ers

Ben Ross: "Very busy around goals and finished with 0.4 in difficult conditions. He continues to back his run & carry and his pace has been really important to the side."
By the numbers: 17 possessions, 2 tackles

Ben Speight: "Ben kicked 1.4 and he has been in good form playing through the midfield and winning more contested football. Many of his scoring attempts have come from backing his speed."
By the numbers: 23 possessions, 7 marks, 3 tackles

Jamie Macmillan: "Jamie played across half-back, spending time on Geelong's Trent West who is significantly bigger and taller. Did a terrific job on him whilst also winning a lot of the ball and creating a lot of drive."
By the numbers: 26 possessions, 7 marks, 4 1%ers

Ben Warren: "Played wing and half-forward and worked hard without getting a lot of the ball. The conditions were difficult for the forwards due to the swirly breeze."
By the numbers: 14 possessions, 6 marks

Ben McKinley: "Kicked 2 goals and played mostly at full-forward, occasionally moving onto the wing. He could have easily finished with 4 or 5 goals if more accurate."
By the numbers: 9 possessions, 2 goals

Majak Daw: "Continues to show his development, highlighted by his extraordinary leap at stoppages giving first use to the on-ballers. Majak also kicked a terrific goal from well outside 50. He is starting to apply a lot of defensive efforts when the opposition has the ball."
By the numbers: 8 possessions, 17 hit-outs, 8 1%ers

Matthew Scott: "Played through the midfield and was very courageous in many of his efforts. Compiled 19 disposals and will be looking to win some easier footy to compliment his hardball gets."
By the numbers: 17 possessions, 4 tackles
