Richmond spearhead Jack Riewoldt has capped off a remarkable 2010 season by being named in the AFL All-Australian team.

Riewoldt was named at full forward, alongside the Western Bulldogs’ Barry Hall and West Coast’s Mark LeCras.

The 22-year-old was rewarded for his best season as a Tiger, in which he booted 78 goals and won the Coleman Medal.

He also secured his first Jack Dyer Medal as Richmond’s best and fairest.

“It was a great year personally, but we were a bit disappointing, so hopefully next year can be better for us,” Riewoldt said.

“It’s a first All-Australian selection for me at any level, so I’m rapt, but I’d trade it to play finals footy at any time.”

Riewoldt was announced in the 22-man by former team-mate and Richmond legend Matthew Richardson, who kicked 800 goals in a 282-game career.

Earlier, he was presented with his Coleman Medal by 1976 leading goalkicker Larry Donohue.

Team-mate Brett Deledio was left out of the team after securing his second career nomination in the 40-player squad.
