In a game that the Hawks led by 65 points midway through the second quarter before the Bombers rallied, young tall Emerson Jeka and mid-season rookie draftee Jackson Callow both finished with two goals, as did Finn Maginness to go with his 14 touches and six clearances.

First-year wingman Connor Downie had 17 touches, while young key defender Denver Grainger-Barras finished with 10 disposals and six marks.

A six-goal haul from Dylan Williams was the shining light on an otherwise disappointing day for Port Adelaide in its 41-point loss to Sturt.

Sam Mayes worked hard to amass 27 disposals, 11 tackles and six clearances, while Boyd Woodcock had 22 touches, eight clearances and eight tackles.
