Licuria and his partner, Eliza Campagna, enjoyed a remarkable run on the show and captured the hearts and support of the audience in the studio and at home.
The couple were elated to make the grand final of the program and gave it their best shot at capturing the title.
Speaking with CTV before Licuria left for Flagstaff, Arizona to participate in a high-altitude preseason training camp, he expressed his thanks to the supporters that supported him during the show.
“I can’t believe the outpouring of support I received from the Collingwood fans,” Licuria said.
“It was a great journey but I couldn’t have achieved making the grand final if it wasn’t for that support.”
