CARLTON v COLLINGWOOD
Hot:
 Tom Bell's tally of 29.6 points, for his four-goal effort in New Zealand, was the top-scoring game by any player last round. Collingwood midfielder Dane Swan's start to the season is his best since 2011. He has a total of 68.2 points and is ranked eighth in the competition.

Not: Kade Simpson has dropped 19 places since the start of the year to 75th overall. Collingwood defender Marley Williams averages just 5.7 points against Carlton – his lowest against any team.
 
RICHMOND v GEELONG
Hot: Shane Edwards is at a career-high 37th overall – also No.1 at Richmond. He is ninth in the competition for average points per game this season. After starting as the substitute, Cats star Steve Johnson was second in the competition for rating points per 100 minutes of game time in round four.

Not: Bachar Houli averages 6.8 points against the Cats, which is 30 per cent down on his career average. Geelong spearhead Tom Hawkins was goalless when the teams met in round seven last season, albeit on a wet day.
 
SYDNEY SWANS v WESTERN BULLDOGS 
Hot: Lance Franklin kicked six goals and scored 24.3 points when the sides met in round 22, 2014. Luke Dahlhaus scored 24.2 points against the Crows last weekend. It was the third-highest score of the round.

Not: Swan Josh Kennedy averages 10.8 points against the Bulldogs, which is his lowest output against any team. Bulldogs forward Stewart Crameri has kicked just two goals and has one assist in his last three games against the Swans, with two of those coming in his time at Essendon. 
 
GOLD COAST v BRISBANE LIONS

Hot: Dion Prestia is Gold Coast's top-scoring player this season with 64.3 points – ranked 15th in the league. Brisbane Lions big man Stefan Martin was the second highest-scoring ruckman in the competition last round, with 20 disposals and 12 hit-outs to advantage.

Not: Recruit Allen Christensen was as high as No.71 overall during his time at the Cats, but has slipped to No.178 after just 14 touches against the Eagles last week. Brandon Matera averages just 14.4 disposals across his career and has dropped to No.289 overall after reaching a career-high of No.228. He was not picked in the Suns' opening two games of 2015.

NORTH MELBOURNE v HAWTHORN
Hot: Todd Goldstein has moved up to 11th in the overall standings – 14 places higher than any other ruckman. Hawk Jack Gunston sits at a career-high position of 36th overall. He is fourth in the competition for total points this season.
 
Not: Drew Petrie has dropped 25 positions since the start of the season to 117th overall. Hawthorn star Jarryd Roughead was kept goalless last weekend for just the third time since the start of last season.
 
WEST COAST v GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY
Hot: Matt Rosa had a career-high 24.6 points last round in his best afield effort against the Lions. Giants youngster Dylan Shiel has scored 76.2 points in his four games this season, the second highest total in the AFL.

Not: Sharrod Wellingham was West Coast's second lowest-scoring player last round with 4.6 points. GWS defender Joel Patfull is 16th at the club for total points scored this season.
 
 
MELBOURNE v FREMANTLE
Hot: Melbourne's Tom McDonald is the top-scoring key defender this season. He is second in the competition for spoils and fourth for possession gains. Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe is the top-scoring player in the AFL this season with 80.4 points.

Not: Jack Watts was Melbourne's second lowest-scoring player last round. Dockers defender Michael Johnson started the season at 51st overall but has since dropped to 70th in the League.
 
ST KILDA v ESSENDON

Hot: Billy Longer had a career-high 21.3 points against the Blues in New Zealand last weekend. Dyson Heppell is at a career-high 60th overall – third at the club behind Jobe Watson and Paul Chapman.

Not: Sean Dempster was St Kilda's fourth lowest-scoring player last weekend with 2.2 points from his 12 disposals. Jake Carlisle is ranked 21st at Essendon for points scored this season, with three goals in four games and none last weekend.

ADELAIDE v PORT ADELAIDE
Hot: Sam Jacobs was best on ground in the last showdown. He registered 29.3 points for his 19 disposals, three goals and 16 hit-outs to advantage. Port spearhead Jay Schulz was the second highest-scoring key forward last round with 23.6 points.

Not: Taylor Walker was Adelaide's lowest-scoring player on the weekend. Just two of his seven kicks were effective. Angus Monfries ranks 22nd at Port Adelaide for total points this season.
