The 21-year-old was nominated for his 10 possessions and three goals in Saturday night’s narrow loss to the Brisbane Lions.
After playing two games last year, White has made his mark with the Swans in 2009, playing 18 of the 22 matches as a backup ruckman/forward.
White showed that he could go some way to filling the void left by the retiring Michael O’Loughlin and Barry Hall up forward, booting 15 goals in the last seven matches of the year.
White came to the Swans via pick 79 at the 2006 national draft.
The former basketballer recently signed a two-year deal with the Swans, ending speculation the Southport local could be lured back home by the new Gold Coast team.
