PORT Adelaide winger Jared Polec will miss up to three weeks with a hamstring injury.
Polec left the ground deep into the last quarter of the Power's 40-point win against the Brisbane Lions at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
"It looks like a pretty natural hamstring injury and we would suspect, if it is, he would miss two to three weeks," Power coach Ken Hinkley said.
"That's just the way it goes in footy.
"We've had an unbelievable run with our conditioning, I'd be a bit tough if I was up here whinging about one hamstring.
"It's footy season, that's what happens.
"We've got good players in good form underneath (in the SANFL), which is really important."
Five talking points: Port Adelaide v Brisbane Lions
Hinkley didn't want to specify who would come into consideration to replace Polec for next Saturday's clash with Collingwood at the MCG.
"Not right now. Let's see how the Magpies play tomorrow and see who backs up their consistent form," he said.
Karl Amon is another week or two away from returning with a knee injury, while the experienced Angus Monfries is also sidelined with a calf strain.
Matthew White, Jesse Palmer and first-year player Willem Drew will be among those keen to put their hand for the Port Adelaide Magpies in Sunday's SANFL game against Sturt.
Hinkley could also decide to shuffle his existing team around and recall inside midfielder Brendon Ah Chee.

"We've got some wingers who are in pretty good form in the SANFL, so that's an obvious position for us, but we've also got other players who have played some strong footy in other areas of the ground, which may allow us to be a little bit more flexible," Hinkley said.
"We've got great flexibility in the group we've got out there.
"We put (Matthew) Broadbent into the middle tonight, we can play (Travis) Boak up on the wing full-time if we need to, so we've got some opportunities.
"Jarman Impey, Chad Wingard, those sort of players can play on the wing, so there's a little bit of what's underneath and what we can do (internally)."

Small forward Jake Neade applied plenty of pressure in his first game back in the senior side since round 22 last year.
First-year midfielder Sam Powell-Pepper shook off any thoughts he may need a rest, racking up 12 contested possessions and booting a long-range 65m goal from inside the centre square.
"If you bring contest energy, you don't look tired," Hinkley said.
"Sam will have some ups and downs, he had one in the first half last week and bounced back.
"To impact games at vital moments for a young player, that's what I look for and I think he does that quite regularly.
"He's built a pretty amazing first season."
