AFL Statement

The AFL has today advised Clubs it has finalised the fixture for Round 22 of the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

Brisbane Lions vs. Collingwood will take place at The Gabba at 7:25pm AEST on Saturday, August 14. The AFL, together with the Brisbane Lions and Collingwood, have agreed to strict travel arrangements and other protocols as approved by the Queensland Government. Collingwood will fly-in and fly-out for the match on Saturday via charter flight.

Gold Coast SUNS vs. Essendon will take place at GMHBA Stadium at 3:20pm AEST on Sunday, August 15.

AFL Executive General Manager Clubs and Broadcasting Travis Auld said he was pleased the league was able to confirm details for all matches in Round 22.
