ALLY Anderson says Brisbane's 'shoosh' celebration after defeating Adelaide last Saturday was a "spur of the moment" gesture.
After winning the AFLW Grand Final rematch at Norwood Oval, Brisbane posed for team photos with a finger over their lips, in an act seemingly directed at doubters of their chances in 2018.
Injured Crows skipper Erin Phillips was not impressed, saying "it's probably not something I'd get my teammates to do".
But Lions onballer Anderson, who starred with 15 disposals and 12 tackles, says there shouldn't be much read into it.

"It was a spur of the moment thing," Anderson said.
"I didn't even know what was going on, I thought she was telling us to be quiet and I was thinking, 'Why is everyone copying her?'
"I saw the photo of Sophie (Conway) afterwards and we all knew for Sophie that was something more significant.
"We don't want to be seen as a cocky team and too full of ourselves.
"It was in the moment, didn't really think about it."
Conway kissed her hand and pointed to the sky after securing victory, a message to her mother who passed away from cancer six months ago.
"I don't think it would be a proper AFLW competition if there weren't some rivalries," Anderson said.
"I think there's rivalry in every competition.
"We're all playing footy, it's not a reality show.
"I think there's a rivalry between us and Adelaide. It's good fun."

Anderson conceded the Lions felt like they were being overlooked by outsiders, despite last season's success.
The Lions are preparing to host premiership fancies the Western Bulldogs on Sunday, in what is expected to be a game played in 37-degree heat.
A decision on whether the AFLW implements the heat policy will be made by Saturday, with the club offering free water and sunscreen to spectators.
