Noble, who has been an assistant coach with the Club since 2005, will officially start the new role on November 1. He will report to Football Operations general manager Phil Harper.
Additionally, Matthew Clarke has accepted a full-time assistant coach role to replace Noble on the panel. Clarke has experience not only with Adelaide, but at Brisbane under Leigh Matthews, Robert Walls and others, and more recently at St Kilda. He will work in tandem with Todd Viney in the midfield area, and as ruck coach.
Crows CEO Steven Trigg said: “The new List Manager role is much needed, to focus on our list and also the other clubs’ lists as we look to improve what we do in the lead-up to free agency, more trading and larger rookie/supplementary lists. David will work with and complement what National Recruiting Manager Matthew Rendell and his team does in youth and talent identification. And given rationalisation in several areas, it’s an appointment that is not only critical to needs, but cost neutral.
“We were also pleased to be in the position to offer Matthew a full-time role with the Club as he has proven to be outstanding in his work so far with the Club.”
