WANT to see a host of your favourite players including Dan Hannebery and Rhyce Shaw up close in Melbourne this Sunday?
The Swans can confirm that seven players plus coach John Longmire will be in attendance at the Fan Day in Melbourne tomorrow, Sunday December 5.
Our courageous midfield stalwart Jude Bolton will be the MC, and he’ll be joined by 2010 AFL Rising Star Award winner Hannebery, dashing half-back/midfielder Shaw, new boy Andrejs Everitt, our favourite goal sneak, Ben McGlynn, promising ruckman Dan Currie and clever half-forward, Jarred Moore.
The Fan Day, which will be held at Aanenson Oval, Murphy Reserve, in Port Melbourne, will kick off at 11am and conclude at 2pm.
Fans will have the chance to meet the players and hear the latest from our new coach in an interactive mock press conference.
There will be entertainment for the kids including face painting, badge-making, relays and races and footy activities such as the handball target and goal kicking.
New merchandise and memorabilia will be on show and available for your Christmas gift ideas, and Santa himself will be making an appearance in his beloved Red and White suit!
Fans will also be able to sign up as members for the 2011 season, to make sure they can see all the red and white action when the Swans play in Melbourne.
