Over 1000 eager young Kangaroos fans flocked to Arden Street last week for the Annual Junior Roo Day.
The day was a huge hit among the Kangaroos faithful, with all players and Kangaroos mascot Barry the Bruiser there to meet the kids and sign autographs.
All the kids ran through the giant banner on their way to footy clinics held by the players. The jumping castle and pony rides were also a big hit.
Two Reebok prize packs valued at $250 were up for grabs for the best responses to the question ‘who is your favourite Kangaroos player and why?’
Isabella Quiroga of Prahran said “My favourite player is Drew Petrie because he plays confidently and scores loads of goals. He is also pretty cute.”
Joshua Liefman of Bacchus Marsh said “Boomer Harvey because he is short like me but I think I am faster!”
Well done to Isabella and Joshua and all the kids who went to Junior Roo Day.
Go Roos!
