Hi Ash, who is the biggest prankster at the club and what’s the best prank you have seen? Thanks
Kelsey from Gatton (QLD)

Mal Michael was the biggest prankster. He used to steal blokes’ car keys and go and move their cars so they would think their cars had been stolen. He also lit Nigel Lappin’s hedge on fire once, which we thought was hilarious, but Nigel didn’t really think so.

G'day Ash, great season so far mate. Just wanted to get your thoughts on that monster goal you kicked against the Swans back in 2003 in the prelim final where it just rolled through. Was that one of the memorable moments in your career as it helped swing the game our way at an important time?
Brendan from Drouin (VIC)

It was a good goal. When I kicked it I thought I was going to be in a lot of trouble because I thought big Lynchy would have been one-on-one in the goal square. So when I kicked it I thought I better run after it and it rolled through. (Luke Power enters the room) and blokes like Lukey Power can only dream that they could kick that far.

Hey Ash, if you had to make a prediction of who is going to win the Premiership, who would you say?? And who do you think deserves it the most??
Caitlyn from Bell Park (VIC)

I would say it’s out of Collingwood and Geelong. I’m hoping for Geelong because I don’t like Collingwood. So hopefully the Cats get up. I don’t want to see Collingwood win another Premiership.

As a junior (14-18 years old) did you play club football, and if so, who did you play for and where did you play on the park?
Dylan from Jimboomba (QLD)

I started off at Kent Districts Football Club out in country WA. Then we moved to Perth and I played for Armidale and South Fremantle. Most of my juniors I was either full-forward or in the middle. It wasn’t until I played for South Fremantle that I played down back. So I played all over the shop when I was a youngster but I like playing forward or back now.

Hey Ash, I have noticed the team seems to be closer as a group. Do you think that to have a successful team you must be successful in keeping your teammates close in friendship?
Maddie from Brisbane (QLD)

Yeah, absolutely. You need to keep the boys together, and we get together and have group lunches during the week and all hang out together. All the boys get along, except for me and Luke Power that is. But we find ways to talk and I steal his lunch sometimes, and sometimes he tries to steal mine.

Hi Ash, I am a keen Brisbane Lions supporter. I have been supporting the club since I was 3 and I am 14 now. I would just like to ask how do you reckon we will play on season 2012 with everyone fresh?
Josh from Macleod (VIC)

HI Josh. I think we’ll do a lot better with a full pre-season under our belts. We’ve got some great young guys who will really benefit from this experience of their first AFL season, and another pre-season will be great for them.

Hey Ash, who has the worst looking car at the club?
Kate from Orange (NSW)

I’ve answered this one before Kate, definitely Bart McCulloch and his gold BMW.
