The AFL has confirmed the fixture for Rounds Four and Five of the rebel Victorian Football League Women's (VFLW) 2022 season.

Round Four will kick off this coming Saturday 5 March when Geelong, one of three unbeaten teams and second on the ladder, take on the Southern Saints (2-1) at Deakin University, starting at 10:00am. 

Three further matches will take place on Saturday including top-of-the-ladder Essendon hosting Williamstown (1-2) at The Hangar and the Western Bulldogs searching for their first win against the undefeated Casey Demons. A pair of teams in the top six with two wins apiece - Collingwood and Hawthorn - round out the Saturday action with a clash at Victoria Park, which will be live streamed on afl.com.au and the AFL Live Official App.

On Sunday 6 March, two matches will take place at 10:00am with Carlton (1-2) hosting Port Melbourne (0-3) at IKON Park and North Melbourne looking to win their first game when they welcome Darebin (1-2) to Arden Street. 

Round Five, on the Labour Day long weekend, will see three matches played on Saturday 12 March – Collingwood v Port Melbourne, Geelong v Casey Demons and Western Bulldogs v Hawthorn. Then on Sunday 13 March, Essendon welcomes the Southern Saints to The Hangar, Darebin hosts Carlton before the round concludes with Williamstown visiting North Melbourne. 

There is a competition bye on the weekend of March 19/20, before VFLW home-and-away action resumes for Round Six on March 26/27, which is the weekend of VFL Round One. Match ups have been confirmed for the full VFLW season beyond Round Five and the AFL will advise of specific details for Round Six as soon as possible.

Entry to all VFLW matches throughout the season is free. 
 
In a first for VFLW, all matches in 2022 will be live streamed - a win for fans, families and friends of Victoria's premier state league women's football competition.

One VFLW feature match per week can be watched live via afl.com.au and AFL Live Official App, which in Round Four will be the Collingwood v Hawthorn clash on Saturday 5 March at 12:05pm, followed by Western Bulldogs v Hawthorn in Round Five. All remaining games will be streamed live and available on demand via the VFL/W YouTube channel (youtube.com/AFLVictoria).
