The AFL has advised of the Match Review Panel's findings from the weekend’s matches.

Incidents involving North Melbourne's Todd Goldstein and Luke Delaney were assessed with both players cleared to play against the Power.

Match Review Panel findings: Delaney
Contact between North Melbourne’s Luke Delaney and Essendon’s Heath Hocking from the second quarter of Saturday’s game was assessed. Hocking was towards goal with the ball and has a shot at goal as Delaney jumps in the air, in an attempt to smother the kick. It was the view of the panel that Delaney’s attempt to smother the ball was a realistic attempt to stop a goal and the high contact that was made was deemed to be accidental. No further action was taken.

Goldstein
The match day report against North Melbourne’s Todd Goldstein for striking Essendon’s Ben Howlett was assessed. The panel said the force used was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
