CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
2. The Promotion commences at approx 1200 AEST on 5th April 2010 and closes at 1800 AEST on 29th August 2010 (“Promotion Period”). The Promoter and Coordinator is HSBC Bank Australia Limited (ABN: 48 006 434 162), 580 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000.
3. Entry is open to residents of Australian States and Territories. Employees of the Promoter and Co-ordinator, their agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
4. To be eligible to enter, consumers must be eighteen (18) years or older, be present at one of the following listed Hawks home ground matches and collect a limited edition 2010 season HSBC branded fan banner (“Eligible Entrant”) from a HSBC promotional staff member. HSBC promotional staff will be positioned around the grounds of the MCG two hours and forty minutes prior to match kick-off. At half time all Eligible Entrants will be instructed to clearly display their 2010 season HSBC branded fan banner. One (1) Eligible Entrant will be randomly selected by the camera crew at each match and will be displayed on the MCG Stadium big screens with their HSBC branded fan banner (“Provisional Winner”).

5. A total of 80,000 x 2010 season HSBC branded fan banners will be distributed during the seven home games referred above.
6. The Provisional Winner will be prompted to attend a specified location at the grounds on the night to meet with an HSBC representative who will record the Provisional Winner’s entry details and ensure the Provisional Winner is an Eligible Entrant. The Provisional Winner must retain and present to the HSBC representative their 2010 season HSBC branded fan banner as proof of entry. The provisional winner will then be issued with an official winners letter confirming that they have been selected as the weeks provisional winner and detailing their prize and it’s fulfillment process.
7. An Eligible Entrant is only permitted a maximum of one entry in the draw per match. Altered or damaged 2010 season HSBC branded fan banners will not be eligible. HSBC Fanbanners from 2007, 2008 or 2009 season HSBC Flash for Cash Hawks Competition will not be eligible for entry into the competition.
8. The prize is an HSBC Credit Card with a $5,000 deposit to start your account. HSBC in its absolute discretion may increase this prize to a maximum value of $60,000 per prize during one nominated week of the promotion. HSBC shall announce that the prize will increase to such amount before the draw via the loudspeaker and bigscreen within the stadium. The Winner must meet HSBC’s product eligibility and account opening criteria to be eligible for the prize. The Winner must:
• be an Australian resident;
• be 18 years of age or older (If the Winner is under the age of 18, the prize will be given to the Winners parent or guardian);
• be comfortable opening and operating your HSBC Credit Card Account online or over the phone;
• undergo HSBC’s credit card application and credit assessment process and be eligible for an HSBC credit card; and
• have a valid and accessible email address.
The HSBC Credit Card Account is available as a personal account only. It is not available to trusts, businesses or companies. Terms, conditions and other restrictions apply to the operation of the HSBC Credit Card Account, and are available on our website www.hsbc.com.au. An alternate product may be offered at HSBC’s discretion.
9. Total prize pool will not exceed $90,000.
10. The Winner will be notified in person immediately after being identified on the big screens at the MCG and published in The Australian newspaper, Public Notices section on 20th September 2010. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If the prize remains unallocated or unclaimed by the end of each Hawthorn Hawks Home Games, The Promoter will hold the prize for two (2) weeks (fourteen days). If the prize is still unclaimed the Promoter will dispose of the prize at their own discretion (subject to any written directions given under State Regulation), and the Winner will be taken to have forfeited any right to the prize.
11. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash or any other goods or services. If the Winner, after having undergone HSBC’s credit card application and credit assessment process does not fulfil HSBC’s lending criteria, HSBC will supply the winner with $5000 in an HSBC Serious Saver or Online Savings Account. The Winner must be comfortable with operating the substitute prize over the internet or telephone. If in the event that the prize is not available, for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter, a prize of similar theme and value will be provided.
12. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses to administer the competition and for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, unless otherwise advised. The Winner agrees that HSBC may use the name, address and photograph of the winner for promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, unless otherwise advised.
13. A Winner may be liable to declare his/her/ prize for taxation purpose and is responsible for payment of any tax, if any.
14. The Promoter and Co-ordinator, their related bodies corporate, their officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for and shall be held harmless from any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained, as a result of or arising from the winner and companion’s acceptance and use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. The Promoter and Co-ordinator will not be responsible for any act, omission, failure or delay not reasonably within their control.
