This weekend: Sandringham v Coburg - Saturday June 24, 2pm, Trevor Barker Beach Oval
Young forward Paddy McCartin was concussed on a tough day for Sandringham as it fell to the previously winless Coburg by 25 points at Trevor Barker Beach Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Hard-running backman Daniel McKenzie was limited by nerve damage after being hit between his hip and coccyx and sat out the final term, while rookie defender Nick Coughlan suffered a hamstring injury.
Nathan Freeman picked up 28 disposals in his 14th consecutive game this year.
The former Magpie has previously been crueled by hamstring injuries while a hip complaint held him back in the pre-season.
"He got a lot of the footy. What we're looking for from Nathan is just the build. He's obviously starting to rack the possessions up, now we just need him to influence games more with ball in hand," Sandringham assistant coach Brendan Allen said.
Dumped midfielder Jack Steele racked up 36 disposals but he too lacked impact.
Meanwhile, rookie tall Rowan Marshall was excellent.
"He's been thrown back as a rookie due to St Kilda being a little thin with their tall backs. He marked everything down there today and we actually had to throw him forward late to try to catch something," Allen said.
"He's going to be a good player. It's going to be a bit of a slow burn but if he keeps clunking them like that, he's going to be in the AFL before too long."
Coburg showed plenty of fight to run out winners, 13.10 (88) to 8.15 (63).

"I didn't get a chance to talk to him but he seemed happy."
The 32-year-old has lined up in just two AFL games this season.
Meanwhile, Jordan Dawson played well in the 42-point win, picking up 23 disposals to be his side's leading ball-winner. He also booted two goals.
Sydney ran away with the game after quarter-time to post the win, 15.16 (106) to 9.10 (64).
