The AFL and Marvel Stadium are welcoming footy fans back to men's footy with $2 pies at Friday night's blockbuster match-up between St Kilda and Collingwood.

Four'N Twenty Pies will be available at food and beverage outlets around all levels of the stadium and will be just $2.

AFL Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial – Kylie Rogers said the offer was the stadium's way of welcoming fans back to the footy as the AFL kicks off the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season this week.

"AFL footy fans in Melbourne have been starved of men's Premiership matches for too long, so it's only appropriate the taste of the time-honoured tradition will be only $2 on Friday night," Ms Rogers said.

"We have a huge opening round of men's football planned this week with our Victorian Festival of Footy, and Friday night's epic contest between the Saints and Magpies is going to be a great way to welcome footy fans back to Marvel Stadium.

"Nothing better than watching the game in the stands with your friends and family, your drink of choice in one hand and a Four'N Twenty Pie in the other."

Tickets to Friday night's match at Marvel Stadium are still available via Ticketmaster, the game commences at 7:50pm local.
