CARLTON will make no decision on coach Brett Ratten's future until after next week's match against St Kilda.
In a statement on the Blues' website on Monday morning, president Stephen Kernahan said there would be no meetings to review the club's operations until after Sunday's clash.
Last Saturday night's shock loss to Gold Coast ensured that Carlton would not play finals football this season, and raised speculation about Ratten's tenure.
He is contracted for another season, but former Collingwood and West Coast coach Mick Malthouse is being touted as a likely replacement.
"Everyone at the club is terribly disappointed with the loss on Saturday night, however it does not change our position in relation to reviewing our operations at the end of the season," Kernahan said.
Meanwhile, Ratten arrived for work as normal on a Monday morning, avoiding waiting media by driving through a secure gate.
Blues players then hit the track for a closed session.
Ratten could be seen taking charge after helping to set up cones on the oval.
Chief executive Greg Swan also declined to comment, saying only: "Oh boys, not now thanks."
Midfielder Mitch Robinson told waiting camera crews the team had let Ratten down, saying he hoped the coach would stay.
