RICHMOND forward Mabior Chol was stretchered off the ground in the Tigers' VFL practice match against Collingwood at Punt Road Oval on Thursday.
Chol went up for a marking contest in the forward line midway through the third quarter and was crunched by two Magpies.
The Tiger returned to the bench in the last term and walked around on the boundary.
He had booted two goals for the game.
The 20-year-old made his senior debut versus Sydney in the final round of last season.
A rookie, Chol played in Richmond's final JLT Community Series match and picked up 12 disposals and a goal.
Collingwood big man Mason Cox had his own injury scare when he hobbled off the ground in the last quarter after hurting his right leg.
"He (Cox) said he just got a bit of a whack on the leg when he kicked the ball. It didn’t look good early but he came back on and pulled up alright, so that's a positive sign," Magpies coach Jared Rivers said.
The American, who was elevated to the senior list for the senior team's round one loss to the Western Bulldogs, slotted two goals against the Tigers.
Richmond held Collingwood scoreless in the final term to post a dominant win, 20.10 (130) to 10.6 (66).
