Eagles Rising Star members lived the ultimate football dream on Thursday, gaining exclusive access to a behind the scenes experience at West Coast Eagles headquarters.

Hosted by ‘Inside 50’ presenter Rhys Anderton, the teenagers were greeted in the players’ lounge by West Coast young guns Scott Selwood, Brad Ebert, Eric Mackenzie, Beau Wilkes and Lewis Broome.

The afternoon kicked off with a photo and autograph session, with Eagles Rising Star members getting up close and personal with their football heroes, while enjoying a delicious afternoon tea.

Moving deeper into West Coast’s ‘inner sanctum’ the group headed to the lecture theatre where they were given the opportunity to grill the players with questions.

Brad Ebert spoke to members about life outside football, while Scott Selwood revealed he wanted to get fat when his football career ended.

Eric Mackenzie and Beau Wilkes entertained the crowd with stories about playing in the backline against some of the greats of modern football and Lewis Broome exposed a hidden talent for guitar.

Door prizes were then drawn with members getting the chance to win signed miniature footballs and one lucky winner picking up a guernsey signed by the entire 2010 West Coast Eagles squad.

After saying goodbye to the players, the evening finished off with the teens taken on an insider tour of the West Coast facilities including the players' change room, interchange bench and coaches box.
