GEELONG will regain premiership players Darren Milburn and Cameron Ling for the clash with Richmond on Saturday night, but could again be without Gary Ablett and David Wojcinski.

Milburn was a late withdrawal from last Friday night's clash with Hawthorn with illness, while Ling has been missing for the past two matches as his fractured cheekbone heals.

Ablett and Wojcinski have been sidelined for the past fortnight with a sprained ankle and achilles strain respectively.

"There is almost no doubt about Darren and Lingy," club football operations manager Neil Balme said in The Age.

"Lingy trained really well last week, so we would be very surprised if he didn't come up.

"With the other two [Ablett and Wojcinski] we are confident of both of them, but there is no certainty on either of them, it just depends on whether they are sore or not."

The Cats suffered another blow on Friday night with tough nut forward Paul Chapman sustaining a hamstring injury that could keep him out for up to three weeks.

"He hasn't got a great record with hammies," Balme said.

"He just felt a bit sore as he was wandering round, it wasn't the obvious pull, it just got a bit sore and he was worried about it. It's not a terrible one, it's not a bad one."
