LD Wholesale Tyres (the distributor of Hankook Tyres and joint major sponsor of the Melbourne Football Club) recently celebrated their 35th Anniversary in business and held a fantastic event at the Langham Hotel to celebrate. With over 200 people together in one room it was the perfect opportunity to hold a charity auction and raise some money for a great cause.
As joint major sponsor of the Melbourne Football Club the obvious choice for the charity to benefit from this was Reach, a foundation closely aligned with the club since it was established by Jim Stynes in 1994.
After some lively bidding, Hankook raised $2,600 for Reach by auctioning two scenic helicopter flights of Melbourne. It was a great result and one that Jim, who was at the event helping Hankook celebrate, was very happy with.
