GEELONG has been forced into four key changes for its clash with the in-form Brisbane Lions at GMHBA Stadium on Friday afternoon.

The Cats suffered two significant injury blows in the second quarter of their loss to Collingwood last week, with ruckman Jon Ceglar breaking his foot in just his second game for the club, being ruled out for up to three months, while Sam Menegola was concussed in his comeback game from a knee injury.

Mark O’Connor’s excellent performance has resulted in him being promoted to the AFL team and Francis Evans is also out, while Gryan Miers has been named but is a good chance to be the AFL medi-sub.

Draftee Mitch Knevitt, talented youngster Jye Chalcraft, experienced defender Oliver Tate and rookie Charlie Sprague all come in.

The Lions made just one change to the team that thumped North Melbourne by 104 points, with Tom Fullarton promoted to the AFL team and Harry Sharp dropping back to the VFL.
