Collingwood’s VFL team take on Tasmania at Princes Park on Saturday afternoon.

Collingwood head into Saturday’s encounter against the last placed VFL side with some good form.   Two wins from their last three matches will give the team some confidence heading into Saturday’s game.

The Magpies side is an experienced squad with Simon Prestigiacomo (193 career AFL games) playing his second game of the season.  Ryan Lonie (123 career AFL games) and Paul Licuria (182 career AFL games) will look to provide some run in the midfield.

Collingwood’s forward line features Sharrod Wellingham, Sam Iles, Chris Egan, and in-form tall forward Brent Macaffer.  Macaffer kicked eight majors in last week’s loss and with another strong game should be in strong contention for senior selection this season.

Collingwood funds all home matches played at Princes Park and receives all gate takings and money from VFL Record sales, so it's extremely important supporters get behind the club and attend matches. CFC members get in FREE.
