COLLINGWOOD looks set to make a raft of forced changes for the Queen's Birthday clash with Melbourne after injuries to Jamie Elliott and Daniel Wells, as well as a shoulder concern for defender Tyson Goldsack, marred a courageous 20-point win over Fremantle on Sunday at Domain Stadium.
Elliott hurt the left ankle that delayed his start to the 2017 season in a tackle from Lachie Weller in the final term. He was on crutches by the end of the game.
Coach Nathan Buckley was unsure how much time the exciting forward would miss.
Meanwhile, a calf strain for Wells in the third quarter will again force the creative onballer to the sidelines.
The 32-year-old has played six matches this year after his campaign was also held back as he dealt with calf issues.

Goldsack had limited use of his right arm after hurting his shoulder. He finished the match but suffered damage to his scapula.
Also, Levi Greenwood appeared to cop a corked quad but played out the game.
Fremantle ruckman Aaron Sandilands seems unlikely to return until round 14 against Geelong at Simonds Stadium after a hamstring concern meant he was again a late withdrawal, with Jonathon Griffin coming into the side.
The Dockers face the Brisbane Lions next week but the Dockers would be brave to risk the 34-year-old on the flight to Queensland.
Ed Langdon returned from a knee injury but coach Ross Lyon said after the match the midfielder struggled through the game and perhaps came back too quickly.
Meanwhile, Adelaide will be sweating on the fitness of key defender Jake Lever after he suffered a right ankle injury late in loss to Geelong last Friday at Simonds Stadium.
Coach Don Pyke wasn't aware of Lever's status immediately after the game, with scans expected this week ahead of Friday night's clash with St Kilda.
Lever, 21, has missed three games this season after hamstring concerns on two different occasions.
Geelong captain Joel Selwood had blood streaming down his head after a heavy collision with Andy Otten in the first quarter of the Cats' win over Adelaide.
The courageous skipper was going back with the flight but was seemingly unaffected and played out an inspirational game.

Gold Coast's coaching staff might have had concerns after Matt Rosa copped a head knock in the opening quarter of the Suns' three-point win over West Coast at Metricon Stadium.
Rosa has had concussion problems this season and although the former Eagle spent a few seconds on the ground, he played the game out.
North Melbourne duo Marley Williams (hip) and Nathan Hrovat (calf) both were checked out during the 35-point loss to Richmond, while injury-prone youngster Taylor Garner also had a leg issue assessed after a marking contest late in the final term.
In other injury concerns in round nine:
- Port Adelaide youngster Karl Amon injured his knee during the warm-up and was withdrawn from the side that defeated Hawthorn by 51 points last Thursday night.
- Hawthorn defender Taylor Duryea was on the end of a heavy hit from Power ruck Paddy Ryder and was assessed, but finished the match.
- Essendon running defender Conor McKenna had a leg issue as the Bombers went down to Greater Western Sydney at Spotless Stadium by 16 points on Saturday but finished the contest.
- In the VFL, Richmond forward Todd Elton dislocated a shoulder against Werribee and may require surgery, while ruckman Ivan Soldo hurt his hip in a marking contest but should be fine.
