The West Coast Eagles would like to thank the many supporters who attended the official post-match function on Saturday night after our round 16 win over Essendon. This function was held straight after the match in the aptly named ‘Victory Room’ at Etihad Stadium and it was wonderful to see so many people supporting their team.
Approximately 250 fans celebrated the win together by singing the Eagles team song and ‘Eagle Rock’ several times!

Many of those in attendance participated in the ‘Guess and Win Competition’ by estimating the number of footballs in a bird cage. Congratulations to Jane Rooke and Peter Johnson who won a 2010 team signed flag as well as an Eagles cap signed by the coach and captain for their successful entries.
All the players and coaching staff who joined members and fans at this function appreciated the support after the match and it provided them with a terrific opportunity to meet our loyal and passionate supporters.
The club holds post-match functions throughout the season at many of our away matches and these events are open to all West Coast supporters.
