A merry crowd of approximately 23,000 was treated to a variety of exciting entertainment and awesome activities throughout the night. Festivities kicked off at 4pm at the Hawks Kidz Zone, which included:
- Skills and drills with Hawks players
- An appearance by Hawka
- Merchandise and membership
- Animal farm
- Face painting
- Jumping castle
- Player signing sessions
During the night, Hawthorn Captain Sam Mitchell, Vice-captain Luke Hodge and defender Brent Guerra, along with Club mascot Hawka, joined the on-stage celebrations much to the delight of the crowd.
Hawthorn FC is proud to be associated with this local community event.
As sponsors of both the pre-show entertainment and Hawks Kids Zone, the Club looks forward to working with the City of Monash in the future.
