Geelong’s nine first year players will go through their AFL induction camp over the next two days.

Focusing on the key themes of resilience, decision making and communication, current and former AFL players, AFL and AFLPA staff and industry stakeholders will discuss a range of issues relevant to the young players beginning their AFL journey.

The annual induction camp is the beginning of an industry wide player education and development strategy, playing a vital role in helping equip players with the skills and knowledge to maximize their AFL career.

The 124 attendees from all 16 clubs will also be introduced to the range of AFL rules, codes and regulations.

Daniel Menzel, Mitch Duncan, Allen Christensen, Nathan Vardy, Josh Cowan, Jack Weston, Ben Johnson, James Podsiadly and Jesse Stringer will all attend the forum.
