Proudly sponsored by Brownes Chill, the players mingled with their fans and enjoyed the many activities spread throughout Fremantle oval. For those who didn’t mind working up a sweat there was the choice of Freo Long Bomb where some impressive kicking skills were on display or a competitive game of cricket, where only some dared to take a catch off their favourite Fremantle hero.
Some however, preferred to display their creative flair and players joined in the face painting, balloon modelling, plaster mould painting and colouring-in competition. Pony rides were a big hit all morning and the never ending queue to jump around on the bouncing castle spoke for itself.
There was fantastic entertainment on stage from ‘Think Pink’ and Crazy Critters and 92.9 were here to join in the fun. Every junior member received a voucher for a Free Brownes Choc Chill, a refreshing Fuju Slush and the choice of a Fruitopia or a Mount Franklin from Coca Cola.
Players enjoyed the chance to meet their fans, sign autographs, pose for photos and join in the Christmas cheer.
The Team Store was packed all day with many people taking the opportunity to do their last minute Christmas shopping and the membership tent was busy renewing members and signing up those who want to join the club for the season ahead.
