Peter Clancy of Glen Osmond has been a loyal Crows supporter for 20 years!

During the club’s first year, Peter was teaching in outback Australia and therefore couldn’t attend games. But he says he has hardly missed a game since.

Sitting in his gold members seats each and every week, Peter some times brings his grandson but if no one can attend with him, he will make the trek on his own.

“I’ve been sitting in the same place for a long time and I know almost the whole bay,” he said. He describes how much he values the friendships he has developed with consistent members who come to games each week.

“We all have a great time together up here. There is some friendly supporter debating at times but it’s all good fun.

“My favourite player is Scott Thompson because he is appropriately aggressive, courageous and rarely makes a mistake. He is great mark, good kick and looks after the other players. A tough boy but a good one,” he says.

Peter believes Nathan van Berlo is a great captain. “He has a good knowledge of the game, the respect of all the players and the supporters love him.”

When asked his opinion on the young list he responds saying, “I think the current side has great potential and will continue to improve.”

Clancy thinks moving to Adelaide Oval will be the “greatest thing that has happened to Adelaide in a long time. It means anyone can go to the football because it’s right there”.

“I will continue to support my club through the tough times and I urge other supporters to do the same!”
