Player Development Coach Steve Malaxos reviews the performances of Fremantle players who played in the WAFL at the weekend.

Kepler Bradley (West Perth) 15 kicks, 4 handpasses, 13 marks, 1 hit out
Kepler played half forward and on a wing. He started really well before suffering a very minor ankle injury in the third quarter that restricted him a bit for the rest of the match. The ankle injury is not serious enough to keep him out for a week so he will be available to play this weekend.

Brent Connelly (Perth) 3 kicks, 7 handpasses, 3 marks, 16 hit outs, 1 goal
We were happy with Brent’s output while playing in the ruck. He displayed good skills in tight situations. His roles in the forward line were effected by limited opportunities.

Marcus Drum (Perth) 5 kicks, 7 handpasses, 5 marks
Marcus played on David Crawford and had a successful defensive game. He had 12 spoils for the match which helped contain Claremont’s forward surges.

Luke Pratt (Swan Districts) 8 kicks, 5 handpasses, 3 marks
Luke played across half back and was incredibly gutsy in playing out the match after sustaining s severe shoulder injury.

Clayton Hinkley (Swan Districts) 10 kicks, 6 handpasses, 2 marks
Clayton played half back and on the ball. His efforts improved over the course of the match and his final term was good.

Ryley Dunn (East Fremantle) 8 kicks, 5 handpasses, 3 marks, 1 goal
Ryley played forward and took some good marks on the lead and was a more than reasonable for the Sharks in their win over Swan Districts

Calib Mourish (East Fremantle) 4 kicks, 4 marks, 2 goal, 5 hit outs
Calib was involved in some key passages of play but not as many as we would have liked.

Chris Smith (Swan Districts)

Chris was a handy contributor for their reserves side in an on ball role.
