Simply by joining up prior to round 5 of the home and away season, Geelong local Colin Cunliffe became the first lucky supporter to have his name drawn. kangaroos.com.au was there with Colin and his family as Scott Thompson handed over the keys to the sparkling new vehicle.

It seems amazing to us and all the people we know that for simply being a member of the North Melbourne Football Club each year, you are eligible to win such a prize. For being a club member just like every football supporter should be, our family has won a car! We are ecstatic to be the recipients of such good fortune and will no doubt be fans of the NMFC and Mazda for life.
We would also like to acknowledge Mazda’s ongoing sponsorship of the NMFC which spans way back to our much celebrated premiership year of 1999 through to the present day. Every football follower would realise the NMFC has had some difficult financial situations throughout those times and Mazda’s generous sponsorship of the club has been the backbone for which the club has been able to build a sound financial position. Mazda’s confirmed commitment to yet another two years sponsorship will enable the NMFC to have confidence in its financial position and the club can really work towards becoming formidable on the field again.
