Just hours remain in the eBay auction for this 2004 grand final guernsey signed by all 22 premiership heroes.

Due to close before 3pm (SA time) on Monday, the current highest bid is $1,525.

The guernsey is an authentic 2004 long-sleeved Power jumper, which is particularly rare as it has the 2004 grand final patch covering the regular AFL patch, just as the players wore on that special day.

As the infamous 22 are now spread throughout Australia, it is near impossible to ever get something signed by all of them again.

Team signed memorabilia from the 2004 grand final sold out just days after the game.

Here is a link to the auction page at eBay.

The club has donated the guernsey to raise money for ‘Pugs Fighting for Cancer Research’. The ‘pugs’ are Power support staff member and former Australian heavyweight boxing champion Foster Bibron, and his mate and former boxing promoter Joe Bridges.

The duo are walking from Adelaide to Melbourne. All the money they raise goes to the Cancer Council.

Joe has experienced cancer first hand, losing his wife to breast cancer and he himself suffering from prostate cancer.

It is expected the 800+km walk will take them close to a month to complete. They left from AAMI Stadium at the Round 2 Power v Kangaroos game.

Even if you are not the winner of this auction, the Power encourages you to support Foster and Joe’s cause by donating by simply calling the Cancer Council on 1300 65 65 85 and quote ‘Pugs Fighting for Cancer Research’.
