We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic team based at the MCG. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Co-ordinating and managing the Accounts Payable function.
- Providing administrative support to the finance and operations team.
- Preparing daily cash flow.
- Actively promoting and demonstrating a strong customer service ethic.
- Match day and key event participation as required.
To be successful in the role, you must have:
- Proven experience in a similar role; finance, book keeping or payroll.
- Excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated experience using specific finance software systems (Great Plains would be preferred).
- Good data entry skills, ideally a typing speed of 50+ wpm and strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a strong team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively prioritise.
- An interest in sport and recreation (AFL is preferred).
