Other incidents assessed:
Contact between Carlton's Andrew Carazzo and North Melbourne's Lindsay Thomas from the second quarter of Friday's match was assessed. Carazzo was following his opponent through the middle of the ground as play continued on the wing. Thomas stepped into the path of the Carlton player to block his run, and Carazzo braced and then made body contact. After viewing all available footage and receiving a medical report from the North Melbourne Football Club, it was the view of the panel that the body contact made by Carazzo was not a reportable action.
Contact between Carlton's Zach Tuohy and North Melbourne's Jack Ziebell from the second quarter of Friday's match was assessed. It was the view of the panel the force used was below that required to constitute a report. No further action was taken.
Contact between Hawthorn's Cyril Rioli and the Western Bulldogs' Ryan Griffen from the first quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. Griffen gathered the ball, tucked it under his left arm and then tried to push Rioli away with his right arm. Rioli grabs his Western Bulldogs' opponent by his right arm and brings him to the ground in the tackle. After viewing all available footage, it was the view of the panel that the tackle did not consist of more than one action, did not drive the player into the ground with excessive force and was not deemed to be unreasonable in the circumstances. Rioli's action after the tackle to hold his opponent's arm was also determined not to have the force required to sustain a report. No further action was taken.
Contact between Richmond's Jake King and Fremantle's Michael Johnson from the second quarter of Sunday's match was assessed. The force used in the bump was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
