To be considered for these roles, you will need significant and successful experience developing players, along with outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Suitable applicants will possess;
People Management & Planning:
- Capacity to effectively manage all talented athletes and all staff.
- Ability to lead and influence within a high performance environment.
- Demonstrate detailed, structured and sequential planning within a dynamic football season.
- Display a good understanding of Indigenous Culture.
- Understanding of talented athlete identification, development theories and practice.
- Strong knowledge of coaching techniques/strategies/tactics.
- Sound understanding of skill development and learning strategies.
- Sound knowledge of WAFL Football/Talent Pathway/AFL Programs.
- Commitment to ongoing personal development in the area of coach education.
- Highly developed and proven communication (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills.
- High Competency in related Information Technologies (IT), including all Microsoft Platforms, Video Editing plus other Football related IT.
- Level 2 coach accreditation (minimum or working towards Level 2).
- Significant and successful WAFL, WAAFL or comparative coaching experience.
