DREW Petrie will be available for West Coast's clash against Greater Western Sydney on Sunday after pleading guilty to a WAFL striking charge and accepting a reprimand.
Petrie wasn't booked during his comeback game from a broken left hand in East Perth's one-point win over South Fremantle on Saturday, but was later cited on video evidence for a hit on Chris Luff in the second quarter.
The incident was graded as careless low impact and high contact by the Match Review Panel, earning the 34-year-old a one-match sanction, downgraded to a reprimand with an early plea.
Petrie appears right in the Eagles' selection mix after the club's howler against Essendon on Sunday, with coach Adam Simpson admitting post-match that changes would be made.
Petrie performed strongly in wet conditions during his first game for the Royals at Fremantle Oval, and first at any level since breaking his hand against former club North Melbourne in round one.
The veteran big man had 15 touches and 11 hit-outs, and felt no pain in his hand during or after the match.
Petrie wore a small guard during the clash with South Fremantle, and is likely to continue to use the protection for several more weeks.
Meanwhile, Dockers defender Zac Dawson has had his match-day report thrown out after being booked for rough conduct in Peel's big win over Perth.
