Over 300 special guests were treated to a night of Hawks hospitality at the Club’s annual major fundraiser - Hawks and the City - held at the Melbourne Museum on Saturday 25 June.
Hawthorn’s biggest fundraising event of the year was jointly hosted by former Hawk Daniel Harford and Channel 10 newsreader Helen Kapalos - who on the night was announced as the Club’s first number one female ticket holder.
Guests were treated to a pre-dinner cocktail reception as they explored the interactive ‘Melbourne Gallery’ while rubbing shoulders with Hawks players and special guests, before moving into the main foyer of the museum for the remainder of the evening.
A bidding frenzy erupted during the major auction and guests were quick to snare items and experiences from the silent auction throughout the night.
An energetic performance by Circa NICA blew guests away with their flips and tricks, and guests even joined in for a sing-along with the guys from Wacky Entertainment.
The night was wrapped up as guests danced away to the hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s thanks to the band ‘Fresh’.

Guests were treated to a delicious three-course meal and premium wines from Ninth Island.
