Carlton President Stephen Kernahan has urged all Carlton supporters to join him and the players at Visy Park this Sunday for the “Celebrating Richard Pratt” function.
Kernahan was speaking at the official Carlton pre-match function at the game against St Kilda where he announced Jeanne Pratt as the Patron of the Club. Jeanne was at the function with members of her family.
“It is great to have the Pratt family here with us tonight and on Sunday week we will be together again celebrating Richard Pratt.
This will be a very special day at Visy Park on Sunday June 21st where we can all celebrate the outstanding life of Richard Pratt. In particular, we will celebrate his contribution to the community and obviously with Visy and the Carlton Football Club.
“There will be some very special guests and entertainment during the day.
“Richard was the man who saved Carlton, there is no doubt about that and I urge all Carlton people to attend to say thanks to Richard and to support the Pratt family and importantly the future of the Carlton Football Club,” Kernahan added.
