My daughter and I really enjoyed attending our games vs Geelong and Collingwood, at the MCG. We think the attendances at those games show that St Kilda should play at least 4 or 5 times per season there, just like other non-MCG tenant clubs, such as Essendon and Geelong. Even the Western Bulldogs play there 3 times this season. Do the Saints have a say in this matter, or is it entirely up to the AFL, and indeed, is it the Club’s preference to play games at Etihad?

As our home ground we certainly enjoy playing at Etihad Stadium and we have had a good rate of success there over the last few seasons.
Of course we also enjoy the experience of playing at the MCG, especially as we come closer to the finals for this year, however these fixture decisions are made by the AFL and unfortunately it is not something the Club has much influence over.
