A TRUCK carrying AFL Grand Final Records has crashed into the front entrance of AFL House.
The vehicle was prevented from smashing through to the main part of the building thanks to an overhanging glass canopy.
A number of passers-by and office workers were showered in glass as they ran to avoid the truck, but no one was hurt.
The driver was left dismayed as he assessed the damage before taking photos of the incident.
Police attended a short time after the incident, as news crews captured footage of the unusual scene.
It's believed the incident was a complete accident.
AFL Record sales won't be affected with the 240-page magazine available at the game and at news agencies for $15.
The bloke delivering Hutchy’s AFL Records at AFL House has somehow managed to smash into the glass awning. Nothing sinister, just an accident but gave witnesses a bit of a fright. pic.twitter.com/e4Ot9CUzEx
