SUMMARY
Port Adelaide has only pride left to play for in its last eight games, but Sunday's clash at AAMI Stadium is a must-win for the Saints, who appeared to put their season back on track with a determined win over fellow finals contender North Melbourne last weekend.

St Kilda's top tier of players, including out-of-sorts skipper Nick Riewoldt, found form against the Roos and the victory, which put the club within a game of the top eight, prompted coach Ross Lyon to declare his team was still a genuine chance of playing finals.

In contrast, Power coach Matthew Primus was forced to respond to questions about the wooden spoon following his team's latest capitulation, this time against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.

The visitors led by 20 points late in the third quarter, but failed to kick a goal in the final term, and suffered their fourth straight defeat.

QUESTION MARKS
Has St Kilda turned the corner on its disastrous start to the season? This question is unlikely to be answered with a win over a battling Port Adelaide team the Saints are expected to beat, but confidence is the key for Lyon's men at the moment and a win will breed more of that.

Have the Power been scarred mentally by their inability to finish off games against the Lions, Gold Coast, West Coast, Hawthorn and Carlton this season? The club maintains fitness is not the issue, which means the problem exists in the heads of the players. Port Adelaide has been competitive for longer periods in its last six games, but the young team needs to reward its efforts with an elusive third win.

PREDICTION
St Kilda by 23 points

TOYOTA AFL DREAM TEAM WATCH

Riewoldt responded to his paltry score of 29 against Geelong, with an impressive return of 99 points last weekend. The struggling forward remedied some wayward goalkicking early in the game to kick three confidence boosting goals in the third quarter, and with a price tag of only $297,900 he's a steal if the Saints have in fact resurrected their season.

Young ruckman Matthew Lobbe has made an immediate impact since being plucked from the SANFL reserves to replace retiring veteran Dean Brogan two weeks ago. The dual-position ruckman/forward has posted scores of 94 and 95 in the past fortnight, but if you want him jump on now because his price of $126,000 will skyrocket next week.
