BRENDAN Fevola's managers, Velocity Sports, will no longer represent the troubled footballer, according to The Age.
The newspaper reports that Fevola's constant changing of direction - after his dismissal from the Brisbane Lions he was linked to Melbourne affiliate VFL team Casey Scorpions but recently has been connected with another VFL club, Frankston - was the reason behind Velocity Sports' decision.
Velocity executive Alastair Lynch said: "Our total focus is to make sure he gets himself well ... but as far as his contract is concerned, we just don't think we can represent Brendan because he has changed direction several times."
Fevola returned to Melbourne on Monday after a nine-day holiday to Los Angeles.
The newspaper reported that Lynch and Velocity colleague Peter Blucher strongly opposed Fevola's recent tell-all appearance on The Footy Show.
It was also reported that the former Coleman medallist had spoken to Frankston after Casey coach Brad Gotch told him he would be occasionally required to play in defence as part of the agreement to play Melbourne's reserves players.
Velocity had publicly stated its disapproval of Fevola's recent visit to Crown Casino, which saw him asked to leave by a staff member.
