The Collingwood match committee has included several big names for Friday afternoon’s NAB Challenge match against Richmond at Visy Park while adding a few new recruits to the 27-man squad.

After being rested from last week’s 22-point win against Adelaide in Alice Springs, skipper Nick Maxwell has returned to lead his team alongside Luke Ball, Darren Jolly, Tarkyn Lockyer and Travis Cloke.

Also poised to make their first starts for the year, Anthony Corrie, Ryan Cook have been named with rookie-listed Magpies Tristan Francis (overall pick 11 in 2008), Tom Hunter (overall pick 18 in 2009) and Shae McNamara (overall pick 47 in 2009) all a chance to play.

Making his return through the VFL last week after overcoming off-season surgery on his shoulder, forward Jack Anthony is a chance to play against the Tigers.

Collingwood supporters will have to wait a little longer to see how the ruck combination eventuates after  Cameron Wood injured his finger on his left hand in last Friday’s win and is scheduled to miss six weeks after undergoing an operation last Sunday.

New recruit Ben Sinclair maintains his spot in the squad after a strong performance in his first match in the wet last week.

Collingwoodfc.com.au will be covering Friday's game in its entirety with a live chat conducted from Visy Park.  Click here to receive a reminder for the chat.
