THERE were some huge scores this week, which has left many coaches up and about. But there is certainly no 'keeping a lid on it' in Fantasy land, and why should there be. After a slow start to the year, patience is slowly being rewarded.

Fantasy Pig

Despite already being one of only two players to hold the highly sought 'Fantasy Pig' title, it would be disrespectful not to reward Tom Rockliff for his effort upon return from injury. On last week's Traders Podcast we interviewed the Lions captain and asked for a prediction of what we can expect against the Blues, to which he boldly threw out 180. A figure like that would sound ridiculous from anyone else's mouth apart from the Pigs, Rocky and Dane Swan. Well after scoring 100 in the first half, Rockliff went on to score 184 from 48 touches, eight marks, nine tackles and a goal. One word … Oink.

Honourable mention:  Lachie Hunter for his massive 163 from 38 touches and 11 marks.

Fantasy Prestigiacomo

After a great start to the year, David Zaharakis let his coaches down significantly with just three kicks among his 11 possessions, one tackle and no marks for a horrid score of 26. Zaharakis was well beaten by his direct opponent Michael Barlow and basically played dodge ball during his 80 per cent game time.

Honourable mention: Leigh Montagna for his disappointing 36, which included just four in the second half.

Piglet

After Connor Blakely received the Piglet nomination last week, teammate Samuel Collins stepped up in just his second game, taking an impressive 11 marks to go with 24 possessions for a score of 97. He certainly has good job security and keeps the score ticking over with a few handy uncontested marks. He will be a popular and recommended downgrade option in the backline this week.

Great trade even if there is no suspension mate!

He is always a concern despite a couple of good games.

I like the look of him, obviously injury is always a slight worry but take the plunge.

Now, he is still a bargain, but won’t be for long.

If you are thinking players like Sam Mitchell, jump on.

He won't score like that every week, but probably worth the risk if you spend the cash it makes you wisely.
